My grandfather used to have a tree nursery. According to him, air layering in mango only works 10% of the times. And so it’s better to just build them. Its called air layering............
You're quite a bit south of me. Will these plums grow in zone 5b? I might look into them for next season. When I'll have bees....!I love plums but I mostly planted these 2 plum trees as pollinators for my other plum trees and for my honeybees. They say they have an extended pollen release and I know my bees could benefit from that.
Do you have this in Celsius?
It says Michigan but it also says zone 5.You're quite a bit south of me. Will these plums grow in zone 5b? I might look into them for next season. When I'll have bees....!

No, haven’t been there but it looks like my kind of place! It’s about to warm up so if you’re still here you’ll get a bit warm. Of course it’s dryer here so you might not notice it too much.View attachment 3456935View attachment 3456937View attachment 3456938
@igorsMistress have you eaten here before? The Farm at Southern Mountain
We had breakfast at The Morning Glory Cafe. Then wandered around and looked at the farm.
Edited to add that I also bought some veggie seeds at the gift shop there too.
Pretty much, but you also don’t want condensation on the lid either. Does it have a vent in the lid?Got my LED "grow" lights for my seed starting shelf set up on a timer last night. Starting with 16 hours on, 8 off.
I have a batch of 3-inch net pots with seeds starting in a 10X20 tray with a dome. I added maybe 1/4 inch of water in the tray, and the net pots soaked up all the water in about 1 day. The 10X20 is sitting on a heat mat. There is water on the inside of the dome, so I know everything is well moistened.
Picture of tray and dome like I have. But I am using 3-inch net cups, not those 6 pack starters.

Questions: How long should I keep these net cups under the dome and basically wet? Should I let the net cups dry out a bit before watering again? IIRC, I am supposed to remove the dome once the plants germinate and shoot up some leaves. Is that correct
