What did you do in the garden today?

Good afternoon gardeners. It was supposed to be in the mid 50’s and cloudy today. The sun actually came out before breakfast. Just a light breeze and got near 60’s. Great day to get some gardening done. I got the asparagus crowns planted in the expansion. Then I got 4 blueberry “bushes” planted. I still have 2 more to go. One of them doesn’t have a lot of roots so I’m not sure if it will survive. Tomorrow I have to have blood drawn then it’s laundry day. It may also be dog washing day as well. Likely no gardening. I need to carve out some time to work on clearing the cut logs away from where the grapes are going. I have more asparagus coming up but I’m guessing since it’s been so cool that’s slowing it down. I worked on weeding the old part of the asparagus bed so maybe that will encourage more growth. The peas are doing well as are the leeks and kale. I’m disappointed that the onion seeds have not shown any germination yet. Oh well. Have a great day.

You worried me, I had to go check mine to make sure nothing changed, lol! Thank goodness we're still coasting along with actually springtime temperatures which is actually kind of uncommon for us here...knock on wood.

That sounds like a good reward Sally. I’ve been wanted chocolate peanut butter ice cream but haven’t found the one I like. Probably for the best anyway :hit
Godiva chocolate peanut butter is darn good.
I brought home a chocolate peanut butter vanilla swirl with brownies and peanut butter in it today. Kemps. I'll let you know.

Errand day.
I took all six loads of sheeting from the frost nights. One massive load at the laundromat. VERY worth it. It's all now hanging on the line.
The strawberries are sitting in the garden. I have room for one more 3 foot planter on the ledge, so 4 more plants next trip to town.
I'd like to build brackets to keep them ON the ledge.
Everything is watered, that's about all for the day.
