What did you do in the garden today?

The Sweet Heart Cherry tomatoes that I tasted came from Fruition seeds. It looks triangle and kind of like a heart. The skin is tender and breaks apart when I chew it, so I don't have to spit it out like the hard skin on other round cherry tomatoes. I would also describe it as sweet and creamy like the lady in the video. :love

This was another wow moment for me as they don't sell this type of tomatoes locally, so I have never tried them. Its way better than the grape and cherry tomatoes they sell.

The texture of the Sweet Heart Cherry is better than the Princess Yum Yum cherry tomato that I just tasted. The Princess Yum Yum has that initial seed goo pop like regular cherry tomatoes, and in comparison the Sweet Heart Cherry is fleshy (Creamy) and doesn't have that initial seed goo pop.

In conclusion, the Sweet Heart Cherry is the only cherry in my yard thus far that gave me a wow moment, but I still have other cherry varieties growing that I haven't tasted like Brad's Atomic Grape, Blue Berry, Black Triffle, Tim's Taste of Paradise, Black Cherry, Esterina, Honey Bee and Spoon Cherry tomatoes.

Sweetheart cherry tomato is very yummy! Tried it last year

Intermittent sun today, enough to warm up the green house. Yay. We had snain (snow/rain; similar to row, which is rain/snow) for a few minutes.

Now they're saying we could have a frost night a week from today! Dang! The cherry blossoms are still covered with the green scales (whatever they're called), the same with the blueberries. The apples haven't even started budding. They're smarter.

:fl:fl Really, really want the fruit blossoms to be ok.

We had three days of this.
low was 19'F
I put two layers of sheeting on the cherries and they were ok. I knotted sheets together and made them huge and then tied them below. ANd the WIND...UGH. Couldn't save the blossoms on the giant pear trees, but oh well.
Good luck

They aren't open yet, so they should be ok. I don't think we're going to get cold enough. Here's where I got my info.

Good pictures.

This morning, we had temps of 37 at the house. The fruit is at a lower level, and I was concerned it would be colder down there. Not by much... 36.5.
