My pleasureThank you!
I haf the memory band on my wrist, hung it back up, and bent over to put old hen to bed and forgot to turn off the faucet. I'm hoping the extremely dry soil surrounding th garden socked up most like a sponge, it's on a hill and the concrete pylons for the garden and barn are better for the soaking, but ugh. I do this at least once a summer. And I left the irrigation on in the garden for 24 hours. Good lord.![]()

I was just gonna ask where your wristband was! Because of you, I do it that way now. Been there, done that one too many times!I haf the memory band on my wrist, hung it back up, and bent over to put old hen to bed and forgot to turn off the faucet. I do the same. For things like parsley & dill I pull the leaves off the stems, rinse, dry & freeze. Not a fan of stems.I just rinse, pat dry and lay them out to dry completely on paper towels, then freeze in a freezer bag; they have to be completely dry so they don’t stick together. I’ve tried the blanch and lay on a cookie sheet, then freeze method but didn’t like it; too much work. You can also purée and freeze in ice cube trays.
There was this cute little chicken that needed snuggled. The fluffy distraction!I was just gonna ask where your wristband was! Because of you, I do it that way now. Been there, done that one too many times!
Yup, I like to get the work done up front, less work when cookingI do the same. For things like parsley & dill I pull the leaves off the stems, rinse, dry & freeze. Not a fan of stems.
