What did you do in the garden today?

cannot disagree with that between our 5 dogs and 3 outdoor cats we really do not have many varmits about here our old lady gsd is the best at rodent control
Both our dogs are aging: Gracie is 13 and deaf and Red is 9 and spends part of the time now in a wheel chair. Since the coyote attack his degenerative discs give him trouble. Our cat Murdock is a great mouser, blind in one eye and now 14 years old. They don't hunt like they used to do.

Thanks for that idea NanaKat! I actually have some of those in my "be prepared" stash. Hadn't thought of that use for them before.

I did not plant dill this year. I cannot explain why, I usually do. Looking over all my herbs, I see I also missed planting any lovage. Proof I am getting old I guess. Oh well, I have plenty dried, so I'm ok. Can always get it at our farmers market too. That give me an excuse to go check out the chicken peeps too.

I battled poison ivy for 3 1/2 hours today. Then I set up a soaker hose in the garden, but I need to put it in better locations to get more of the correct sections. I also planted more green beans.
I need to get the weed eater out there before the grass is taller than the plants
