So today I decided to go dig up the few strawberries that managed to root from runners in the ground around the area where I originally had the barrels sitting.
I found just a couple around the first barrel location... Easy to dig up and transplant in the barrel.
Got to the 2nd area and was FLOORED at the number of tiny little plants everywhere! They seemed to have spread rather quickly. I probably dug up over a dozen tiny plants... Who knew that strawberries could actually be invasive almost?!?!

I also dug up yet MORE irises that I missed the first time. Since I have absolutely ZERO places to put them, I gifted them to my neighbor. In turn, she pulled up some type of purple plant to give me back (even though I didn't ask). She said they root incredibly easy... Anyone know what it is?
