What did you do in the garden today?

@akroberts1085 Thank you !

I managed to get the header up today.
I'll do the final sanding and painting on it tomorrow. The door has its pulleys on it and is leaning along a wall in the living room.

My 9 1/2 year old hen is battling something. No idea. Impacted crop? Sour crop? Plague, old age, who knows. I'll pamper her like always, throw some meds at her and see if she comes out the otherside. Sweet old thing.

Lots of ice today. Snow coming tomorrow and Monday night, then comes the below 0 temps and -30 windchill. Must buy #1 diesel this weekend.

I hope she pulls through for you.

Snow coming Wednesday. People will stock up on groceries. Always seems to be a run on milk, eggs and bread before a winter storm. I am like what everybody making French toast?:D
I used to work at a grocery store the bread and toilet paper would sell out every time they forecasted more than an inch. The bread would disappear in waves. White bread first followed by wheat, hamburger buns, hotdog buns, pita and flatbread, bagels,English muffins, then finally they would raid the tortillas. Within a couple hours everything that resembles bread is gone. Most of it probably went stale before people could eat it all with the amounts they were stockpiling.

We're out preparing for the snow, getting the cars stacked inside, tractor in & tuned up, started the snowblower, locating shovels, salt ready, etc.

Still no furnace. The old one is out, new one is in but not hooked up. Supposedly he'll be here shortly but with all the snow coming & the cold the last couple days he's swamped.
