It can't be turned off but there's a device that you can purchase to put an end to that BS. I'm not sure what it's called/cost but the next time I watch Motor Trend TV I will write it down and send it to you.I just took in my van that has auto-off feature. It turns off when sitting at a light, for example, then when you push on the gas to go, it restarts. Well, it uses a separate battery for this. I turn the stupid feature off 95% of the time as soon as I start the van. But, there is no way to actually disconnect it. So, I’ve just had that silly battery replaced again bc it dies. Last time it dies it left me stranded…but I was at home and couldn’t start the car bc of the auto off feature. Yea, had to take it to the mechanic to do this and he confirmed that it can’t be turned off permanently.
