I want to try grafting squash. Could solve some disease and pest problems. For rootstock I plan to use Dickinson pumpkin.

I put up old cameras that have crossed over to the great beyond, on already standing fenceposts as warnings. Grand visual deterrents. Some among the many are working, some are not. Only I know which ones.

HOWLING winds today, extreme fire danger all week, but the promise of rain later in the week. I'll take apart the winter barn stall today and toss some pasture seed out and hope for the best.

I need to dig out my Mum seeds and get those in soil next week. Mums I plant with the clock change.
