What did you do in the garden today?

The wind has decreased today to only 35 mph gusts. Wah! Still hard to work outside. I finished potting up the strawberry plants. The base that holds the hanger poles doesn’t go deep enough to support the poles with the grow bags on them. I could sink a couple of t posts to attach them to. I’m hoping the wind dies down enough to let the chickens out today. I could spend some time cleaning up the garden while they’re out. Finger’s crossed.

Thanks, it’s tough!
Yes, it is! I would have left my job in a heartbeat, except at my age (52 at the time), it would have been very hard to find anything.

There's something wrong when you would seriously consider wishing away years of your life so that you could retire. I stuck it out for another 6. But I am very glad it's over.

Sending lots of positive waves. :fl :fl :fl:fl

I will gladly accept those positive vibes thank you! Glad you could stick it out. I am 55 and was laid off after 16 years with an insurance company a few years ago. Hated that job tbh. I found out they then offered early retirement to anyone 55+ so I’m pretty sure they were getting rid of the older folks. I lost my last job after a bout of vertigo last year and I’m fine with that, I hated that job too and with my hearing issues the phones are not something I can deal with anymore.

& where's @pennyJo1960 been?

Beautiful out, but windy. Watered the seeds. Got the light on the seedlings. Reseeded a couple thyme that I killed spraying with the water, lol.

Oh how I wish I could retire. I've always loved my job, but it's gotten so bad lately. Plus my disabilities with the back make it hard. 6 more years, hope I make it. :lau
