Like I mentioned before, I have only had Covid once and that was at the beginning of this year. The initial “onslaught” was pretty nasty but that lasted all of 2 to 4 hours. I recovered quickly however I have asthma and COPD and that was where I had some issues. I have a nebulizer at home for emergency use and that worked out fine for me. I did nebulizer treatments twice a day for about a week then did another few days of one treatment per day. That along with my regular treatments helped get my lungs back to a better place. But that didn’t seem all that horrid to me. I still kept up with my regular daily stuff, just moved a little slower. I feel bad for folks that don’t have good regular healthcare. I am enrolled in the VA healthcare system and except for my dental care they keep this old body running pretty good.It can be rough when you're already "damaged" from chemo or any other treatments or medications that wreaked havoc on your body, plus if you've ever had chronic bronchitis, asthma, any respiratory infections that were tough, even if years ago, it can just be hard on your system. If you have any condition you didn't even know about, heart, liver, kidneys, any issues or infections with any organs, it can be very difficult. Covid likes to find your weak spot, whatever that may be.
