What did you do in the garden today?

I don't have one near me, but I did years ago - wasn't impressed way back then. It's weird the obsession people have with Aldi! If I had one close I'd give it another shot.
I have read great things about them yeah, so I was expecting something completely different. My daughter said it felt like a way point between walmart and the dollar store.

Eat some garlic. String some around your neck. Better yet, spray your yard with concentrated garlic juice. I swear it works.
I cook with garlic A Lot...maybe they find my blood garlicy? 🤮 😆

Last night I was late getting home from work, dusk had already fallen so I didn't pick any squash, just hosed the garden & fig & peach tree a bit. I did spritz my stuff on hastily so I missed my leg & look...those little skeeters attacked the spot I missed. So whatever is going on...it may be the combo of my garlicy blood & tea tree? I really don't know.

They congregated to bite the 1 spot I missed with tea tree spray. I use Sarna lotion & the big welts shrink down to this by morning. I love Sarna lotion!

I use raw garlic in my hummus. Hubs can tell when I eat Greek lol. I have skin that reacts to almost anything so I use the garlic juice in my yard instead of putting stuff on me. Granted we don’t get rain very often so I can spray and it lasts a while, but that stuff has kept our yard skeeter free for years now. The best part is I can spray the grass and the shrubs and everything with it, doesn’t harm pollinators and is 100% safe around the animals and little people.

Love Garlic! ❤️ It is wonderful. Tastes awesome in tomato sauce 😋 & is healthy.

Does anyone shop at Aldi? If so what’s your store like? We have one store that’s not even that close and I wasn’t impressed. The tortillas weren’t fresh, selection wasn’t great, etc
I go about once a month or 3. So things I like some I don't. If I could only shop at one store it wouldn't be aldi. But it is one of 3 grocery stores I shop at regularly.
Their goat cheese is cheap and doesn't bother me. The other store's are 2x as much and I swear there's cow milk in there because it bothers me.
I like the guacamole 6 pac of single servings, jerky dog treats, blue organic corn chips, can organic pinto beans, organic salsa, can salmon, pole caught skipjack tuna, organic grapes and bananas.
I have gotten a ex large stock pot and a spaghetti pot with strainer, the softest blankets and jacket and the thickest exercise mat.
