I'll see what's left out there. The heat has been hard on them but they usually do ok with it. Unlike my veggies.

Not anything in the garden making pie pastry recipe of 1960
fresh picked blackberry 2 tbls of flour but berries drained also in the fridge overnight
I found some teeny-tiny perennials at a home improvement store in the spring that were like .79 cents a piece. I had doubts whether they would even grow big enough to become established, but bought nine plants anyway (3 each of 3 different kinds). They were so cheap I figured why not, since I was getting nine plants for about the price you would normally pay for just one perennial. I got 3 coneflowers, 3 blue mirror delphiniums, and 3 mystica penstemons. All but one have flourished, and four of them are flowering already! They look really nice in the perennial garden, even though they are still relatively small, and the delphiniums are just a beautiful blue color - not purple, but really BLUE! They are not the usual tall, spikey delphiniums (nothing against the tall ones - I think they're beautiful). The blue mirrors are also really gorgeous, and if any of you are looking for a truly blue flower, you may want to check them out. I really love them!
