Today I took 37 rose cuttings and 86 Pomegranate cuttings.

I have a hoop green house. I buy a roll of 4 mil. clear construction poly that is 10' x 100'. Yes, the plastic will last about a year, then it needs to be replaced. I can get 5 replacements for my 8 x 8 green house which works out to about $10/year. It's not terribly time consuming to replace the plastic. You can get about 4 years out of green house poly, so that may be more economical.

I would like a 12' x 20' greenhouse.
We just were not sure if we could get
A roll from the garden or box store to work for 20'. And I don't know if I can get it high enough for the trees I want to keep in it either.

Dan do you sell your plants? Just wondering why you always have so many.

I started out with 2 pomegranates last year that were 4" from Burgess.
Only 1 made it. But it grew 4' in my kiddy pool along with my elderberries.

My son went to work for a commercial grower they plant and grow all kinds of stuff. They have been planting bulbs for weeks.
They sell to big stores all over.

Dan, do you sell your cuttings, by chance? My pomegranate bush bit the dust because of some rogue pokeweed, and I'd like to replace it.

Today I have friends coming over for our weekly cartoon night. Little do they know, we will all be folding seed cups together. XD
I need something like 400 seed cups for all my plants so I will take all the help I can get.

I try to. I’m just starting to sell trees. Mostly it’s for fun. side job really. Prune the trees, cut the sticks into sizable cuttings, stick in the ground and forget. Barely do anything to them and I still average about 70-90% rooting. Figs especially are real easy.

Oh nice. Stinks you lost one but glad the other is doing well. If my cuttings are big enough they’ll definitally grow a good 3-4ft the first year.

After they root I try to. I’ve never sold just the cutting though.
