What did you do in the garden today?

It was cleaning day for the coop, run and chicken yard. While we cleaned, the girls preened, under the watchful eye of King George.

Well, 20.5 pints more of chili sauce...and storms moving in...dogs in my chair with me...gust front may be splitting again. That may mean less rain again and no hail...guess I'm up for a while longer.

Our Pawpaw Patch. So far we have found over 120 Pawpaws. Don't know how many we get as opposed to the critters. Harvest in about 3-4 weeks.
Anybody have a good recipe?

We have 12.5 acres on the bend of a river and it is just covered in paw paws. I never tasted one before. They are interesting.

Not sure where i posted this, but our two big storage sheds are coming tomorrow. I dread it, because i have other projects including planting the stuff my friend mailed to me, setting up the electric fence and working on the coop.

Sweet Sugar wrecking my desk to get attention.

Sugar loves to knock everything off my desk so I'll talk to her.

Sugar is a needy girl this morning. Playing fetch with a hair doober (pony tail elastic) after she's knocked everything off my desk. She's one of our Snowshoe x alley cat crosses, from when her Mom was a loose young lady. It's wet and thundering, so no outdoor gardening. Just planning and later work on the grow room move. Yesterday I got pics of the okra in bloom. Photos don't capture the delicate yellow of the blossoms. Lovely!
