Came in after working hard before the storms hit. Lots of little but necessary chores. Looks like we are about to get pounded. Guess I'll be indoors for a bit, working on finishing grow room.

And just ran out again. HE was at his desk and saw a baby possum literally trying to come in the back patio door! Still daylight, storm coming in, possum about 6 inches long not counting tail. Death by snake shovel. Bleached the patio. Now waiting to see if Momma, comes around. HE talking crap about eating it. I oughta cook it for his dinner just to see the look on his face.

Took me a minute. Finally got it. Nah, you know I got too many house and veggie plants I want to grow, ain't got NO time to mess with weeds. Told y'all about the one I found out back. It's in the compost now. Minus a teensy bit HE wants to test for toxicity.

Thank you much. It's nothing expensive. I figure by the time the cover rots I can recover with shade cloth for the summer. It will get very limited use for warmth here.

From what I hear it won't be toxic till about the end of September if it was a female. If it was male you did the world a service.

I was just outside shoveling mulch into the piggy babies and a bolt of lightning struck without thunder. I hopped in the ez go cart and drained the batteries shooting across the pasture faster than the lightning, into the barn. Ran like a little girl into the house! The only thing I didn't do is hide under the bed with my dog! Gotta show him I am the strong one!
But under the bed was on my mind 5 mins earlier.

We got just enough rain to get everything wet. Now the sun is out again. I just want to take a nap. Maybe after supper i will plant the confederate rose and some bulbs.
