What did you do in the garden today?

Did you plant your Kohlrabi inside, or in garden? I've never grown it before, but have a pack of seed to try.

I have grown kohlrabi outside, direct seeded in the garden. Grows well, and i enjoy it.

We tried kohlrabi last year and I was surprised how big it got. My wife started it from seed in the greenhouse last year then transplanted to the garden. I'm not a big fan of rabbit food, but it was pretty good and supposed to be very healthy.

We got the frame done for the garden yesterday.

Wowza Igor! That's quite the frame for a garden... I'm surprised you have such a tall box when you already have a fence. Do you have lots of deer problems? :O

No deer. I live in the desert so we need a bit of shade in summer. Grackles are vile birds that like to steal my corn seed and I have chickens. Since the birds are free range/wild the garden is going in a cage.

ETA the grackles are protected so we can't shoot 'em with a pellet gun.

Big day for me!!! Hubby got the snow blower fixed. He was able to break through the 4+' snow/ice avalanche in front of the shop door. Then, he did the path from front yard to back yard, and cleared a path to the green house.

I forked up one bed in the green house. It just needs to be raked out, then I can plant greens in it.

Tomatoes are sprouting!!!

It needs to dry up a bit so i can put soil in this...
