What did you do in the garden today?

Costco just like anything else it’s super far away. Closest Costco is probably about 35 to 40 minutes so no point in me having a card. But I just don’t understand why I haven’t been doing this all along. The gigantic bag I got it Aldi of the golden potatoes worked great . I never see Eyes that big on the seed potatoes I buy. Doing them in food safe buckets this year. It will help save room in the garden and prevent them from being harvested pre-sliced

I grow mine in a big garbage can I drilled holes in! I've got all blues, yukon golds and a red one that I can't remember what it's called.

Also got a cattle panel up over one of the raised beds and built two bamboo teepees finally. Probably one or two more to build this week. Planted armenian and lemon cucumbers and a long squash whose name is something like zuchilio rampicante. Also yardlong beans, golden sultan beans and Kentucky wonder beans.

We make that long of a drive to Costco here all the time
I think it is a frame of mind thing.. if we lived in the city we would be close
We prefer peace and quiet we are retired so can pick and choose and
kids are grown

Definitely would love to do Costco. I had a card when my daughter was young and I lived in town and it was smaller town then and I do like Costco but we always have one project another going at the house and my job usually 50-60 hrs a week in summer ( slower now only 40) and then my daughter ( now 16) and I both have social anxiety issues so we avoid some places. But Costco is awesome

There were some humps of dirt behind the workshop from when the bulldozer was here, so today hubby dug up that dirt and parked it by my garden. I mixed it with manure and dumped it in the new raised bed. So that was my garden project today. Bought some onion sets, grape vines, seed potatoes and perennial flowers , mostly on clearance at Walmart. Next to plant those and my rose bushes.
