HUGE storm last night. TONS of rain. More mud ugh. I think the sunshine and 60 to 70° weather will finally come visit Virginia next week.

My yard is FINALLY drying out after the 3.5" deluge of Wednesday. Or was it Tuesday? Either way, about half of the back was swampy.

I ate the first home-grown strawberry this morning.

I have a bunch of seedlings I need to harden off and get planted. However, we're taking everyone camping this weekend (me, bf and all of our kids)--time to hang out in the woods for a bit. And paddle. I'll still have Sunday evening to play with plants.

Luckily not till over an acre from the house through the woods. Whew. Makes me feel better about my house. Neighbors are a different story. Our little dirt road with a big hill in the middle and we live right at the top. My poor neighbors get all our runoff
