It’s very good for a lot of things that’s for sure.Oh wow. I wish I had tons of bamboo like that! All the things you can do with it.... Garden edging, garden stakes, hoop houses, animal tractors, even irrigation...!
Actually, there are two kinds of bamboo, spreading and non spreading. As you can imagine the spreading kind is the invasive variety. The other kind is fairly inoffensive. They're both about the same usefulness but one doesn't grow back very fast (non spreading).

I need more snow than that to keep me on my winter fitness routine of shoveling. At least you missed out on the polar vortex that swept through most of the country. I can't do much of anything outside for a few weeks. Just gathering up seeds and preparing to start the indoor planting.
