What did you do in the garden today?

I'm building a sprouting room! We have this funky useless spot in our garage, heated garage, that has just been used as a dumping ground.

I decided to make it a place for sprouting and potting. It's slow going as I decided to start it and then immediately (unbeknownst to me) split a molar in half. It got nasty and painful and slowed me down until I could get in to the Docs. He thought it was an ear infection, and so did I. But three days later I figured it out. It was putting pressure on the main nerve in my neck and jaw. Good gracious I was miserable. Dentist took care of it.

So back to work on it more today. I need to pick up some bulbs, hang my lights (have the fixtures, line the shelves, screw the shelves down, get some small tools that will live on the potting bench, install my electrics, and get some good starting medium, hang the wind screening, and put up some trim. Done. LOL. The hard stuff is done. Now it's just the little tedious stuff. I forgot to take picts today, but this is what I had done by Monday.

I managed to pop out there before DH got home. To snap today's pict. you can't see it in this photo, but I built a step to get up there.

It was 9 days of HELL! I have ETD and it's been so long since I had had a broken molar that I really thought it was the tube in my bad ear, again. My sinus' have been horrible this month and I thought it was an infection that spread to my ear. It hurt every hour on the hour for like 30 minutes. Which is what happens when my eardrum ruptures too. Every tooth on one side on my jaw was excruciating.

There is no down time on a ranch. Luckily, I'm able to swear loudly here and no one can hear me! LOL. I did quite a bit of it.

Dentist let me keep it so I could get great picts of it. I told him that I was working on the frozen stock tank monday night and had the vice grips in my hand. I was SO tempted. I'd post a picture, but it would probably gross people out. It's not bloody or anything, I think it's cool.

It cracked UNDER the crown vertically. The nerve in my jaw is still wacky, but it'll right itself in a week or two.

Vice grips not that good. :old
For $12 a pair of these would have been better, I'm sure dentist relived you of more than $12

LOL. I'm dentally well insured. Not a dime :)

OK you've been warned :D The biggest molar, lower back right. (The black/silver is the crown adhesive/filling, not cavity/decay.)

Pulled apart view. And yes, it hurt. LOL. Extraction was easy peasy. Treated myself to a trip to the yarn shop about an hour and a half away. Bought some new Top for the spinning wheel, another drop spindle, and some nummy yarns. Anyone else knit and spin?
