What did you do in the garden today?

I need to get to home depot and get some herbs. NONE of mine made it through our idiotic record winter.

The garden isn't done. I still need to put more mulch down in the walkways, and I need to put up the support posts and wire frames for plants. But that's for another day.

The FENCE,however, is DONE! And Boy does it feel good. 31 hours of me working and working and working. It's a solid thing and I love it.

I got some pictures today. Here are the planters my husband made. I hauled dirt and filled them yesterday, and planted our seedlings

Agree. We learned a long time ago that we can't afford to have to keep doing things over and over but cutting corners first. It had an electric chicken net/fence around it last year, but it was impossible to weed whack around and the grass was starting to take over and eat the net!
