What did you do in the garden today?

Good morning all. I'm with @Sueby, bring on the snow. Not to be insensitive, but here in New England anything less than 6 inches is just a dusting. We don't really get much snow until December or January, however, we have had some on Halloween. Glad to hear your Mom is improving @karenerwin. OK, and when has Walmart not sold something seasonably inappropriate @AllenK RGV? When you live in a climate that has normally high / hot temperatures, a cold snap could be temps in the 60's. If you're accustomed to 90F, 60F seems chilly. Therefore, you might want the fleece. But those of us in colder climates are hoping you send us some cheery photos of your garden over our snowy winter. Have a great day everyone.

My mom said that the PT and OT people said they don't think she will need the around the clock caregivers after this next weekend!!

Yay! Good for her!

They have fleece stuff on display down here between the produce and the registers.

Hahaha! well, I guess they figure the cold customers will bite. Plus, they are putting it on display in a colder area of the store. In all the Walmarts in my area, the produce and registers are near the door, so maybe they are counting on chilled customers making that impulse purchase!

Almost an ich last night. Another two tonight. Then it all melts.

Does standing out in the middle of the yard and swearing at the snow count for doing something in the garden?

@WthrLady I think Missouri beat Nebraska on snow amount and then there was the delightful ice that had my run nets dragging on the ground. I usually criss cross paracord under the netting to help support it but didn't get it done. I'll definitely be doing it as soon as the weather settles back down. I tried to do it today but the melting ice made it pretty miserable. But I see you still have a lot of green showing also. I mean good grief! It could at least wait until the apple tree dropped it's leaves! There is just something wrong about snow on leaves when they are still green.

@microchick we were in the 40's all day today but no snow! I was able to continue burning out the tree stump and the brush. I think the stump will be finished in the morning if the rain doesn't douse my fire too much. It just started raining at dark. It is suppose to rain all day tomorrow and now they have put snow in the forecast for Halloween. The high is supposed to be 38.
Won't have to worry about a Halloween costume, nobody will be able to see it under the kids coats!:lau
