I haven't paid very much attention to my peach tree since winter began. It's still young and just about 6-7ft tall. I hope it didn't start forming buds yet. We just got a few inches of snow yesterday (after I thought we were done with snow here). My peach tree is blooming![]()
It's been warm here. I have a dwarf peach tree. We had peaches on it last year.I haven't paid very much attention to my peach tree since winter began. It's still young and just about 6-7ft tall. I purchased mine last Spring. It developed peaches while still in the pot, but they died and fell off when about the size of a quarter because we weren't able to keep it watered enough. I transplanted it after that. It grew well in the ground and survived the winter fine. We were getting warmer weather the last few weeks so I know it started to grow leaves again. I think it started budding yet though, but I haven't paid much attention. I'm hoping it will go to fruit again this year, although everything says it will be 2-3 years after transplanting. It's been warm here. I have a dwarf peach tree. We had peaches on it last year.
I will be putting out the trail camera just to be sure. That was the weird thing last night though., the man door on both coops were still open and the chickens were still inside. I would think that would have made them easy pickings! Which is another reason I think it was a bird of prey. But it must have been a big one to take on an adult female turkey. Of course she was a smaller breed of turkey but still!I'm sorry Karen. Hopefully whatever it was won't come back for chickens too!
