What did you do in the garden today?

Pulled my habaneros from the greenhouse and planted them around my little acre garden. Also pulled the tomatillos and panted half a row of them, first year growing them. My ghost and scorpion peppers are close to putting in the dirt. The reaper pepper seeds I ordered at the same time as the rest just arrived a couple of days ago so I got them in cups today in the greenhouse.
Good bless your bum. Is going to be in fire! :gig

Happy Easter Gardening Folk!

Does mowing lawn until exhausted then doing a face plant in the sofa for the rest of the day count as 'garden work'?

I really enjoy mowing. One of the things it does beside giving me exercise is allow me to do a spot check of the fruit trees. Most of them are forming buds and blooms. This next week's weather here is calling for chilly days and sub freezing nights the beginning of the week. The Asian pear trees are about to pop...naturally, but the apples are in early stages of bloom production. So we are keeping our fingers crossed. It's an off year for the peaches so if we are lucky they will bloom later.

Everyone have a good day and stay healthy!

I’m amazed your grass needs mowing already. My condolences. That’s one thing I don’t have to worry about.

I could/should have mowed mine this past week, but just didn't feel like it. 6 hours is a LONG time to sit and twirl. Next week :)

@LittleLakePhil I only laugh because, well....APril....we were 87 a few days ago, then that night we were 17. Record high and record low in 48 hours. Yesterday was 73, right now it's snowing. We just put up water for livestock and people and toilets in case we loose power. Ahhhh Springtime.
