Mulch sends me over the edge with spores, mold, and mildew. It's a promise of a bad day the next day.
Sorry it knocked you out.

Thank you. I’m having a breathing treatment right now, then will have the cetirizineI'm so sorry @igorsMistress, those temperatures are just impossible. And your allergic reaction to the chips. Hopefully as they age it should calm down. I take cetirizine in the morning and benedril at night before bed (at my doctors instruction of course) and that helps me. Unless I mow the lawn on a dry dusty day, so there are limits.
Okay so DP made the huckleberry buckle. We had a piece with vanilla bean ice cream. It was awesome! One of the best sweet things I've ever eaten. Never had a "buckle" before and it doesn't look exactly like the picture but here's where the recipe comes from, https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/...Dh7FnniCz1tZ6o2IhtKI7zAWrDnXN1SwZZY3ggu7pIa6g Worth the work the berries were.
Yes I definitely should have worn my mask. I have only one N95 left and I’m trying to stretch it as far as possible, the cloth ones don’t work nearly as well. You can be sure I’ll be wearing it the next time though. We are finding that our allergies are less now that we wear masks a lot. I'm not sure whether you have already tried that in the garden, but it could be worth experimenting. Sunglasses can also reduce allergies, as less of the dust and pollen reaches your eyes and the sensitive skin around them. Nothing's perfect, but they add up in a helpful way.
I've cut back some fruit trees today so that I can put in another vegetable garden.
