What did you do in the garden today?

But I don't need 25 strawberry plants! I only need five to ten, lol.

So I looked and hunted and dug around through all my favorite seed places, and had no luck finding strawberry seeds that meet my requirements. Decided I'll try sticking bare root plants into the aeroponic setup and just cross my fingers that they work. But! I can only find the ones I want in quantities of 25, which is way more than the 5-10 I want to bother with. :barnie Maybe I'll offer the excess plants to SIL and MIL. They might split 15-20 between them. The neighbors grow flowers profusely, maybe they'd like some free berry plants? I don't know. Dang it.
 
Good afternoon gardeners. Sinus headaches for a few days with the wind. Today is better, it’s supposed to get to 80 or so before we cool down a few degrees. I watered the seeded areas in the garden and the carrots. This afternoon I’m going to chill with the ducks and see how the bigs and littles get along. Their house litter needs a good stirring also and some straw maybe. The duck weed is growing really well so I think I’ll scoop some out and rinse, then the ducks that for their evening snack. Soap and water followed by diluted hydrogen peroxide and then a good rinse. I read that online somewhere just the other day.

You could also offer them online? Someone would probably buy them.
 
Waterered indoor starts and house plants. Added 5 gallons of chicken manure to the compost - I am finally able to clean the poop board in the coop since the temps warmed up and things are thawing out during the day.

That's about it for today. I'm restraining my desire to plant a tray of pepper seeds. I'm telling myself to wait until the weekend. That's still ahead of schedule by a week or two, but much like my tomatoes I am hoping to have larger, stronger transplants this year.
 
I planted onions today because the feed store had sets. Pulled up a few more weeds. I need to set up 2 tent stakes and string to define a straight line of mulch vs grass for the grapes. Because the grass is basically made a weeds so its very confusing lol.
Yesterday I weeded one of the rose beds and a gravel pathway (tiny stones not like grey pavement).
