I was suspecting that as well @igorsMistress. These plants have been in the same pots for nearly 3 years so they likely are in need of a larger home. Thank you for nudging me in that direction.

Took it down. I knew it wouldn’t hold up if the winds got up or we got hail. Didn’t want to risk it.Glad you’re ok there! Did the storm actually knock down your greenhouse or did you take it down to prevent damage?
Good thinking! We have to batten down the hatches on occasion but not like that. Although we get some pretty serious gulley washers in summer with down drafts that take off roofs and topple trees.Took it down. I knew it wouldn’t hold up if the winds got up or we got hail. Didn’t want to risk it.
Our weeping willow we planted last spring is doing so great - probably doubled in size, with new buds and leaves starting now! I think I'll follow your path and root some cuttings.I got some weeping willow branches from a friend and put 1 foot long pieces into water to root last week. They are already rooting and starting to put out leaves. I will need to plant into dirt soon, I better go out to the potting shed and find 20 containers to plant trees into.
Pick it up by it's tail or use a shovel and put it in a plastic trash bag or paper sack and throw it in the trash. If your pick up is too far away, take it to the trash cans at the local gas station. (the outside ones.)So there's a dead opossum in the yard...definitely dead (will not post photos...ick!). So now we have a couple questions: 1. Who killed it inside our fence? I'm hoping it was one of our dogs, and not a coyote or something.2. What do I do with it when the county says it's the city's problem, and the city won't answer the phone??
Ugh. Oh, and we have people coming over tonight...supposedly to hang out in the back yard. Which currently is home to Mr. Deady-McDead Opossum.
Really don't want to spend my day digging a grave for a wild animal. Or repeatedly getting voicemails at the city government.
In more "garden-y" news, the seedlings are outside for a few hours. So far, got a decent sprouting rate. Accidentally broke off one of my squash seedlings though.![]()
I bag it up and throw it away. What do I do with it when the county says it's the city's problem, and the city won't answer the phone??
