The sad part is that isn't even everything.... I still need to pick up horse feed ($30/bag), goat feed, and duck pellets tomorrow at TSC. They carry the feed brands I can't get at the feed store. It'll be another $100+.We get ours at tractor supply.
Looks like my bill. Alpaca kibble ain't cheap.
All that for two horses and two goats who do absolutely NOTHING to carry their own weight. At least the chickens and ducks provide eggs and meat...
But I've got a soft heart and can't bring myself to sell them off. The horses are elderly (over 20 yrs old). No clue how old the goats are but I suspect they are old too....
It’s also fun to dehydrate cake and reconstitute as desired for a snack here and there. I’m pretty sure it was Here that I mentioned for my dads sake I hoped I wouldn’t see him last Thursday; he passed Wednesday morning. Yesterday I went to the crematory with my mom to make arrangements and pick out a tube for his ashes, then we went to his favorite Mexican restaurant and I had a margarita in his honor. Today I really need to get out and water before my mom comes over. Next weekend I’m taking a gardening class at the worm farm and plan to take another look at their fruit trees and how those are set up. Anyway, I’ve rambled enough.
I'm glad he is no longer in pain & that you got to spend good time with your Mom celebrating him.
