What did you do in the garden today?

Adding soil and pest moss to newly cleared area for partial shade garden. I dont know what to edge it with or even if I have too? I want to make my yard eventually into a food forest so I want it as natural as possible and nothing that is too heavy or has to be moved to work in the garden. Anyone got any good edible plant I could use as a border plant for zone 4?

collard tree?

Morning everyone.

Supposed to get some storms tonight, not as bad as everyone else that saw them come through tho. Hope everyone is ok!

Took a couple pics yesterday of everything coming to life:

Rhubarb in their FINAL, I SWEAR, resting place. That I have to makeshift fence outside the garden so the dog doesn't decapitate them with his run line because apparently THIS is the place to hang out if you're a dog. :smack

The horseradish experiment gone wrong. Planted in a 5 gallon bucket to keep it from taking over, yet it's growing everywhere outside the bucket. Oh well.

@Sueby Love the chickens! So pretty. Your strawberries (all your plants actually) look amazing!

Leveled out the new bed some yesterday and the ground was wet from easier rain. Will add some garden soil and peat moss today. No clue what to edge with, any ideas anyone? Hoping for nice looking but cheap.

28 deg F and snow this morning, I just want to plant. Come on Mother Nature!!!!

We have near and slightly below freezing temps for several upcoming nights. All the tree/fruit blossoms are still tight little buds, so they're safe.

I got an email saying my purple potatoes are on their way. I only ordered 1 pound, just to try them out. If they do well and we like them, I'll be planting more next year.
