What did you do in the garden today?

Awwww NOOOO!
(Snake? Cat?)

I have no clue. But I am so heartbroken over it. We have had a problem with snakes out there in the past month. But the netting was also pulled away from the fence so something could have gotten in there too.

There was a chicken sitting on 4 duck eggs in the coop. I gave those eggs to the mama duck hen. I really want to move her somewhere else but I'm worried she will abandon the eggs if I try...

Mom planted more corn and lettuce. All I did was take photos today.
It just started pouring rain! We really needed it!

Leelanau Sweetglo it is. My granddaughter kept insisting it must be a giant cantaloupe because an orange fleshed watermelon is just somehow wrong. It's tasty nonetheless.

How have I gone my whole life not realizing there was a difference between sprouting and microgreens? ...I mean, they're all tiny green healthy things.

Of course, I didn't look it up until AFTER uploading a video to Youtube. So now I sit and wait hours for the darn thing to edit and wonder how many people will watch it before the edit is completed. lol

I need an editor for my life. Like, a live action editor to put their hand over my mouth before I say stupid stuff. lol!

PS Microgreens are delicious.

I’m going to be 53 later this year and still learn new things every daySprouts are delicious too and taste wonderful on a sammich. Microgreens are easier to grow though, less chance of mold etc.
