What did you do in the garden today?

It rained off and on all day . At one point ACCUweather sent me a severe thunderstorm warning . So I looked on the daily part and it said no rain for 60 minutes . This covered the warning time . Rain , hail and wind started in 5 minutes . Stuck inside all day . So I made a pie . Pear custard - a mistake really as I intended to make Rhubarb custard but no Rhubarb in the freezer . Custard already mixed so I improvised .

Sounds like a tasty way to spend the day.

My daughter got me a pair of Crocs to wear out front when I’m working to replace the flip flops her man sized teenager literally busted out of taking out the trash. Anyway, she got these things to put on them :gig (Not my photo)

Ha ha! I didn’t know they still made Crock charms.

If a person is terminal they need to give them what they need to get by. Dying people don't get addicted. When my Father and Mother were passing on they were giving them the pain killers they needed. As they should. :duc Rant mode off.
Not sure what your situation was, either of you, but in a case like that.
Pallative care, call hospice, they will take care of the patients needs for them.
NOT giving someone pain relieving drugs for end times, is just.. well I can't say the words here... I'll get yelled at again.

crocks are awesome, I don't give a rats ass what you yankees think of em :D

Step in something smelly, garden hose and it's good as new.
but big warning. they do NOT protect you from stepping in fire ant hills and things like that. Occasionally sticker weeds and things can pike through too,and if you are working with bee hives, remember to change into REAL shoes, bees are smart and know where the bee suit ends :p

Ha, here it is! I now have a tie died pair too, lol. I hate crocs, but I love my crocs. The tie died ones have less holes for sticks to poke thru. :gig I do love hosing them off!
