What did you do in the garden today?

Dyna Mosquito trap, it has a fan under the UV light that blows down, so bugs get sucked into a screen chamber and die from dehydration. They also sell a human scent bait that smells like body odor.. The trap claim the UV reaction to the trap's surface gives off Co2 that mosquito are attracted to, but I think the bait is a must have for the trap to clear the mosquito.

If I didn't have this trap, I would be eaten alive.
Seeing various models by dynatrap online. Do you mind sharing a photo or the model #? This sounds like a lifesaver!

I bought this 1/2 acre one in 2021, it cleared the mosquito in my 3 bed room residential yard. When I ran out of UV light, I was getting bite and over reacted and bought a new 1 acre one which look like it is 4 times as big. The 1 acre one won't fit in a 5 gallon bucket and it is also about 6inches taller than the bucket. I posted a picture about 5 threads back. In comparison the 1/2 acre one look like its about 12 inches tall and 6 inches wide.

I only used my 1 acre trap once in my house recently when a mosquito pushed me to my limit. I over killed it.....:wee

The bait is expensive, but worth it and it was cheaper on QVC.............I don't change the bait unless I get mosquito bites a week after I change the UV light and I don't change the UV light until I start getting bites. I usually forget when I last change it.

18 degrees
howling winds
white out conditions, schools closed, freeway and roads are closed
drifts form so fast that the plows have given up until it passes- i'm not plowing until the wind stops - diesel is too $$$ to plow more than once
6 inches and counting with wide drifts of over 2 feet here on the ranch and hear they are larger further into open country.
The windbreaks are slowing the wind, but that's allowing the snow to fall in huge amounts near them.
Even the uni is closed.

Like I said, ours just started. They were ordered off the roads at one point. One time I'm glad of the wind, I'd rather move drifts after the wind has died than an even layer of 6-12 inches.
Lincoln is a mess, they didn't have the winds. It's a thick mess everywhere down there.
The winds kept the deep snow, which was dry, from settling on our road. It just blew across and built up around buildings and trees. So I Don't need to plow the mile road, I just need to plow out the drives to the barns.
It's already melting where the plows have been or the roads are blown bare.
