What did you do in the garden today?

Seems like an awful lot of work so I’ve never tried it but if it works better…maybe in a pinch if I needed them & all I had was fresh. My dog hates the sound of the steam exhausting, he runs outside when I get the darn thing off the shelf. 😂
Poor guy! That was my thought too, too much work for hard boiled eggs. My saucepan is smaller, lighter, and easier to wash.

Good morning all. This is my Friday, yay. I took tomorrow off as a random break. Our temps are a little cooler today, but back to the 90s by Sunday. The tomatoes love it though, I swear they grow inches every day. I’m going to start a few Armenian cuke seeds this weekend and try those again since something got the last one and these like the heat. They have a unique taste, a slight melon flavor, and they’re really good in a melon salad or a melon salsa. Break is over, have a good day!

Yes it is really a melon used as a cucumber, On hard boiled eggs we get the water boiling. then add the eggs. Set timer for 15 min. Remove from heat. cold water to cool them quickly. Even fresh eggs peel easily.

I just realized that I planted peas in the bed I was going to plant these onions. Oops! I'm going to plant then in front of the tomatoes (or where the tomatoes will be in a few weeks rather). The other option is to plant them infront cucumbers and yardlong beans. Tomatoes seem to be a better idea as I can prune the lower branches to give room for the onions if needed.
Peas and beans DO NOT "get along" with onions. Nor does asparagus or sage.

My fresh still stick and they’re ugly for deviled eggs lol.
