What did you do in the garden today?

I'm thinking about the Victorian barbecue sauce recipe in my new book.
I knew that you would likely find that recipe interesting, so I was glad to see you had purchased that book. I’ve not tried it, but am considering it too - biggest hesitation is that my family isn’t very into BBQ sauce, I’m the most likely to use it.

Keep doing some landscape arrangements

Meanwhile, the raised beds are turning full.

Good afternoon gardeners. I got a lot accomplished today. I cleared and measured the grape planting area, then tossed more brush and debris up the slope. After lunch I planted the shrubs. The Kiwi and the Butterfly Bush were really small bits. I hope they make it. The Hydrangea is small but more visible. I'm still waiting for my order from The Arbor Day Society to ship. There's a dogwood tree, a forsythia and a Keifer pear tree. I scoped out an area that I can plant the corn and lima beans in without killing myself clearing it up. I think the potatoes will get planted in containers this year. It's just too much work. Tomorrow I'll be taking it a bit easier and just put another arch together. DD is taking me to the ballet tomorrow evening, then it's back to work on Friday. The rhubarb looks great @BReeder! I'm not all that fond of it so I don't grow it at all.

Transplanting tomatoes. MERCY it's dry out. Even with dampening the new potting mix, the plants are wilting almost immediately. A good soaking thereafter, and into the greenhouse. Hope they perk up soon. Thought the tray I grabbed was a 48. it's a 96 ugh. Have ordered more soil and DH is picking it up on the way home.
70 more to go. Waiting for DH to bring home some more potting mix.
And the section I thought was only 40 was double planted so instead of 4 in a 4 cell, there are 8 in a 4 cell. I'll not make that mistake again in spring.
I just hate tossing seeds. LOL.

I plan to can it in jam jars, that why I can have a smaller amount or open a second jar of I need more.
