I figured that's what it was on the peach roses but I don't see any black spots on the other roses. They have yellow leaves that turn crispy brown or they get small yellow spots on them. Like below

Nothing in the garden today except a gland to see that everything pulled through the storm, and it all did from what I could see.

That's a mighty fine-looking wheelbarrow. Very nice job.

Just make sure you don't leave it outside on the front lawn or you can kiss it goodbye! One of my new Gorilla carts disappeared from my lawn a few years ago and it was not even custom painted. Since then, I have had to lock up my wheelbarrows and carts every night or risk losing them.

That's why I love where I live so much. We're at the end of a dead end road. The neighbors all take care of each other. I can leave anything out, and nobody bothers it.

Too be sure, that is one really awesome wheelbarrow!

Chicken math and plant math are all but the same thing LOL.

I believe Plant Math is a derivative of Chicken Math. Here's my proof:

I had a garden before I had chickens. When I got chickens, I realized I needed plants to help feed/entertain them. This is not an example of plant math, however.

After a year of having chickens and thus, needing more chickens (chicken math at work), I knew that I needed more plants, and different plants. Plants that I wouldn't have needed had I not gotten chickens. That is plant math.

Next for me will be Bee Math. It has already added to my plant math. I needed flowering plants for the bees. I'm not big into flowers (though I love to look at other people's flowers!), but I need flowers for the bees.

Same here! We are all really close down here at the end of the road. It's fantastic to know everyone is looking out for each other. Even if the do feed the bear...er...birds. (they told me they now have a pair of gray fox at the feeder & the mallards now go there to eat too )

Another nice day here. Yesterday I found that I can clean up a little with the tiny rake that came with the dog pooper scooper. So, I uncovered the milkweed & it's popping up & looking good. I got out the rain gauge & a couple garden decorations. Strawberries are juuuuust starting to develop in the flowers. It's not much, but it keeps me sane.

Sorry TJ - I have no clue. I tried to kill the roses here but they survive just to spite me. Not a fan of roses (they hurt & are very needy. lol). But my thought was leaf spot. I looked at my peach tree & a couple of the smaller leaves have a couple spots on them that look like that. I may treat it with neem today & see.

Good morning gardeners. I will be doing minimum gardening today. The black gnats attacked my eyes again yesterday. I’ve been using bug spray on me but I can’t use it around my eyes. I woke up with my right nearly completely closed by swelling. Then there’s numerous nibbles on my eye brows. So itchy. I ordered a safari hat with bug netting from Amazon. It will be here tomorrow. I did water my lavender and pansies earlier. I did get the vegetable starts outside and watered them. Then picked some lilac and took pictures. Btw: I guess it’s a weird winter thing, but some of my daffodils are white. Who knew. Lol!

I'm so sorry about all your bites. I know how it is.

I'm currently dealing with a gnat bit on my lower lid, right at my lash line. It's a booger!
I have a horrible gnat problem here. I've tried so many things. I have not bought an actual safari hat, but many years ago I did try a homemade bug netting hat which didn't work. The gnats got through the screen.

Anyway, the thing I use that currently helps but also keeps me cool is a neck fan.

I bought three for myself so I can change them out. I also bought one for my dad. It really helps me work, as I get so overheated!!

Just a quick walk through with the weeding wedge this morning.
Moved the rhubarb to a new spot (just planted it last week), and put a summer savory in its old place.
I need to refill the hummingbird feeder. It leaks like mad. I might get a new one while out today. WHO puts the FILL on the BOTTOM of a liquid feeder?!?!?

Forgot to mention this. I’ve never been fond of bleeding hearts but some came with the house. Things have been blooming so late this year but not the bleeding hearts. I saw a hummingbird feeding on their flowers earlier. So I will stop trying to kill those plants because I really like hummingbirds.
