It should work but I have not tried it on pear. Bear in mind if it does work it will be a standard size tree. Many use the invasive flowering pear that pops up everywhere as a rootstock for grafting onto. Makes a smaller than standard size tree.Watered 2 out of 3 of the gardens. Harvested 3 more spaghetti squash. Put up another cattle panel archway between 2 raised beds ( one of the beds doesn’t even have any compost or soil in it yet.). Spread 2 more bags of mulch over cardboard for walkways between raised beds. Picked blackberries.
@jerryse I am trying to root a pear tree branch. I cut off the outer branch covering and then wrapped damp spagnum moss around it and then wrapped it with plastic wrap and secured with zip ties. Any idea if that will grow roots?
I also harvest 1 cherry tomato.![]()
