What did you do in the garden today?

Thanks. I'm not a mechanic, so whenever I fix something myself and save lots of money, I like to post it online and maybe encourage others to try it. YouTube is a great resource for me to see how to fix some things. I find lots of things beyond my knowledge, but within my capabilities once I see how the repair is done.
I also belong to the “watch a YouTube video “ tribe, but… it always looks easy on YouTube, but when doing it yourself problems crop up no online video can solve, I tried changing the faucet, couldn’t get it off, tried changing the shower head with bar, couldn’t get it off … 😳 right now I’m fighting a clogged toilet, don’t want to use too many chemicals, oldest son is coming for a visit with his family and it would be uncompfy for 8 people to share 1 toilet, lets just say the toilet is winning, as of now… I would love to install a new one ( my father always removed it, unclogged it and put it back in its place without a hitch, but he’s been gone for almost 10 years and hubby has 2 left thumbs 🙄) so I will continue trying, last time son came we had the same problem 😬 may I add one day before son arrived I had managed to fix the toilet 😇

If a normal toilet plunger does not clear the clog, I use a toilet drain auger like this...

I also have a 25-foot-long auger that attaches to a drill. I think I like even better. If you have problems with clogged toilets, you might want to invest in something like this from Harbor Freight...

Also, let me mention, that I think those water saver toilets seem to clog up very easily. Nothing wrong with giving yourself a courtesy flush after you do your business but before you wipe and toss in the toilet paper.

Not much about gardening in this post, but maybe your son and his family will have more time to enjoy your outside gardens if they are not queued up inside all trying to use 1 bathroom!

I have a ND buck who could really use a bath and a trim while you're at it.... 😂
We got 1 done. Took a lot of time. The other one will be tomorrow. I was covered in goat hair, but I was only holding the goat or getting jumped on. Teen was wielding the clippers. As far as bucks go…well, I hear they like to impress the ladies in a very stinky fashion, can’t imagine what they smell like wet!

Washed, cleaned and finely chopped up about 16 cups of Rhubarb, portioned for future baking.

Too bad you all can’t see the next few hours of my life…it will be laugh worthy I think. The 2 female Nigerian Dwarf goats (not in milk, so no large udders) will be washed, then we will attempt to trim their coats. Neither of these things we have done before. I’m expecting to be wet, dirty and covered in short goat hair. Hopefully neither escape. If it takes too long, then only one will be done today, and the other tomorrow.
You need a chute and a trimming table with a bucket of food.
Video, or it didn't happen.

Wait until the mating season, lord they can stink!
