What did you do in the garden today?

I decided to work on some stumps.

The weather today was lovely, sunny, almost 80°F. Tomorrow and Sunday are supposed to be the same, maybe I can get the porch and shed stained this weekend.

Since you asked:

If it's one neighbor you are referring to you would use " neighbor's " in the US. It shouldn't ever be s's, only one s.

Those 's are confusing, even for those of us who were born here. :p
To add more confusion, if it's more than one neighbor you're referring to, you'd use neighbors'. A second "s" isn't needed.

Wow, that's scary! Both his reaction, and that it happened after not having them before.

Neither DH nor I have been stung (yet). Neither of us know if we have an allergy, either. At my last physical, I asked the Doc about this. Should we get an epi pen to have on hand, just in case? He said that children's liquid tylenol would be a good thing to have and didn't prescribe an epi pen.
I was told to keep liquid Benadryl on hand in case I got stung by any of my bees. Or anyone else’s bees. 🤣
My bee hive was completely empty of bees a few weeks ago when I went to feed them. 😞

I think this version is easier and more explanatory
I remember the first time I went down south - I volunteered with the Red Cross in Louisiana after hurricane Katrina. The first night I got there we went to the grocery store & I swear I could not understand a single bit of what the girl working the register said to me. Even after she repeated herself. But anyway, I had NO clue what all y'all meant. Y'all is not something I'd ever heard before, except on tv maybe. & then never all y'all! It was all confusing to this northerner. Now I say y'all all the time, it's so much better than the 'you guys' that we use up here. Though I'm still not sure I would use all y'all correctly. :lau
