They just had their 3rd chance in chat. All done with Chewy! It wasn't even a shipping problem, it was their warehouse.

Wow! We haven’t had that experience but we are in a heavily populated area so maybe that’s why. I would quit after 3 chances too

I hear that. I always try to support local...if I can. Sometimes it's just too much money. I'll spend a little more local, but I can't get beat up too bad - I need to retire! LOL

I love to soak in a tub. Our tub here is like a little playskool toy tub & I'm 5 10...doesn't work well, so we bought a hot tub. Best thing ever.

All this talk of honey, I went out to lunch yesterday & had a mozzarella & arugula salad drizzled with a hint of honey. It had 2 chunks of honey comb in the corners. OMG I was in heaven! There isn't much better than honey comb IMO.

Raining here this am. Just need to feed & water the birds. Not impressed with Chewy, I ordered a bag of high protein feed & it got lost. So they sent out a 2nd bag & it's been days & hasn't even shipped yet. My local feed store didn't have much except starter crumble & I'm not a fan of crumble so I thought I'd try Chewy. Guess I had that coming, buy local. LOL

I loved Chewy. We had to have specialized medical food and supplies for Suzie. The order was never wrong, and never late. When I logged in and cancelled all the upcoming orders, you have to select a reason for cancellation. I think the option was 'crossed over the rainbow bridge', not just ' pet died/deceased'. Anyway, I thought nothing more of it.
Two days later, a dozen pink roses at the door, signed I Know You Loved Me, Suzie signed Chewy.com

OMG.

That said - I've never ordered Livestock feed from them.
Hardly anyone carries the noodleneck food. Purina makes it -and there are two purina plants within 30 miles of me, but getting TSC to get it in reliably has been impossible. So I use a local company and haul up and get it myself.

G’morning all. We’re getting rain! Not tons, but that’s ok. I have the door and windows open and our temps will be in the 70’s over the next week. We got our bulk trash out yesterday afternoon, so my yard is looking much better and I’m a happier person. That was really bugging me. We are hoping to get the mesquite out front trimmed a bit this afternoon after things dry out some. Then I’m putting it on a watering schedule since we’re still 3” below normal rainfall.

Expecting a rain tomorrow, slow all day piddly kind. Which is awesome as we are down almost 20 inches in 18 months. It's ridiculous here.

It’s better for you even though it doesn’t taste as sweet. The reason store honey is so much sweeter is because it is often cut with sugar. Processed sugar.

Yeah, I don't know what all goes into making honey sold at the big box stores, but it sure is a lot sweeter than the natural honey I bought at the open market.

This morning, I made a bowl of hot quick oats and used 1 teaspoon of natural honey and gave it a few squirts of the Honey Bear. That combination worked for me, so I think I will finish off the natural honey jar using it that way, mixed with a bit of Honey Bear honey to sweeten it up.

I thought Dear Wife would be excited to try some of this natural honey, but I asked her last night if she liked it and she said she has not tried it yet. That surprised me as she normally uses as much honey as I do. I have been using the natural honey for about a month now, and she has yet to try it? Something not right there. Maybe the gel like consistency of the natural honey is putting her off?

My grandfather was a beekeeper, I grew up with natural honey and can’t stand the taste of other honey. I am used to honey being so hard you need a pick to get some cheap honey is produced by feeding bees sugar, and they incorporate it into the honey, also, if honey is heated over a certain temperature to make it runny, most health benefits are lost , I get goosebumps just looking at those „honeybear“ packages theres are also many kinds of different honeys like clover, chestnut, heath, cornflower and so on, and they all taste different and have different colors too

We aren't huge honey lovers but I do like to cook with it occasionally or put some in tea. We drove to the west coast once and stopped in Tombstone, AZ. There's a little honey store there called Killer Bees. The guy who owns the store actually traps Killer bees. He collects their honey and sells it. I have to say it was incredible. Even coming from someone who doesn't really like honey... The desert nectar was my favorite. I think I walked out of that store with 4 or 5 jars of different kinds of honey.

I do remember you saying that, it is nice that they do that. The girl in chat asked me how Patrick (my dog) & I were today. I ignored her cuz it annoyed me.
I'm in pain today & having to contact them AGAIN did not put me in the mood to deal with her scripted chit chat. With that said, I wasn't rude to her, I thanked her for her time & told her to have a nice day because I know it's not her fault that the warehouse lost my order. Again.

That is insane, but you’re definitely getting the best kind of rain after that. We only get 7.5” average per year now and it shows in a lot of the native plants. Poor things.

I think I hurt myself moving logs into the raised beds, can’t really use my right arm. I had some boxes outside waiting for the bottom of the beds and the rain has made them easy to handle. I put a bunch into two of the beds this morning but that was enough for today.
