We will be getting some rain tomorrow, perhaps up to an inch. We need it, so I'm very glad. Going out and about in the rain when it's chilly isn't fun, but when we need it, I don't mind a bit.

Started hacking back my jungle, and inspecting recent winter storm damage… this includes fruit trees I will need to remove and replace, lots to do, flattened planters, destroyed chicken coops, chickens are now living on my back porch. So guess what I am building this weekend… and breaking down. Lots to do.

Going to get the berry plants put in today so tomorrow I can focus on getting the seeds started. It's not as warm as I had hoped for but at least the rain gave me a break.

I have garlic poking up. It's really going to pop next week when we have temps in the 50s and 60s.

Collected 5 stalks of asparagus today and a few leaves of lettuce.

Getting 2 inches of rain between today and tomorrow. Hoping that kickstarts the seeds I put out on Sunday.

Had a business trip this week and now I'm sick. First time in a while... Got through the whole winter without so much as a sniffle and now I'm miserable sick, all within a 24 hr period.
