Planted a 7 foot tall English Oak today and managed to get a water bag on it and a deer enclosure around it. I still need to buy two bags of mulch for it.

The herb garden is showing signs of life and the daylillies are up about an inch.

Cleaned out my greenhouse, and took my tiny brassica seedlings out there. Also rigged a thermostat-regulated exhaust fan to help on the warmer days. One more warm day, tomorrow - then back to reality. It is only March, after all. My recently-planted greenstalk garden that is in the greenhouse has tiny lettuce seedlings. Other than that, I got lots of branches and sticks picked up.

While I was clearing away all the dropped branches from last week's windstorms I saw that one of sections of horseradish root that I planted is breaking ground. It's in a group of four that I planted close to the road as more of an ornamental. I have two others in the garden that I'll use for eating.

I've been trimming out extra seedlings from the seed cells I planted last week. Today I noticed that the curly parsley and the red Russian kale is starting to sprout. Still waiting on the peppers, flat parsley, marjoram and crocosmia seeds to break ground.

I went to check on Attila and the chicks and can for realsies see green stuff on the chaste trees, yay! Tomato plants are growing like weeds. I’m off crutches so will get pics tomorrow. Heel is killing me today, I still have to sleep with a brace to keep my foot flexed and am waiting to hear about starting PT. Dr said it’s ok to walk and if it hurts, do less the next day for now. I can ride my bike or swim, but no hiking. Duh, I don’t think i could walk down the street right now.

Hang in there, I know the situation right now sucks, but hopefully, it will get better talking from one pt patient to another sadly, my insurance only covers 1/2 of the pt , 10 sessions cost about 400 € ( one session lasts 25 minutes) so I quit after 20 sessions, she did offer to treat me only half of the time so I got it covered, but I don’t like „cheating“ I can file it in my tax return, but they expect me to cover 6000€ by myself before I get anything back, so that isn’t helpful either, I even got an extra insurance to cover what the regular insurance doesn’t cover, but they said the pt was billing over average, so no joy there either. And she is the only one I can reach while being incapacitated

I don't know if I said anything about it or not but I got up this morning and found out that I posted a picture of the new babies on BYH and won picture of the week.

Good morning everyone. Nothing outside today, I’m job hunting and working on my resume. I was wondering if anyone has seen @CNJ lately? Haven’t seen any posts here in a while.

I got locked out of my computer when I reset my computer to the original factory condition. I couldn't remember my passwords after I changed them on a prompt from my new virus protection Bid Defender. All my new passwords were stored in a file, I forgot to write them down.
I think it's a blessing in disguise, since I don't have any junk mail anymore. The only thing I had to do was report my credit card as lost or stolen. This automatically stopped all my subscriptions.
