What did you do in the garden today?

Allergies are winning this week, that's for sure.
I've managed to get the stuff out of the freeze dryer and into jars, two loads of laundry, and I set and grouted a splash back for the bathroom sink.
That's it. That's all I've got. My whole face hurts. Dang sinus'.
I woke up this morning with my molars itching... Weird symptom, I know... 😂 But it's ALWAYS a precursor to a bad allergy day. I started loading up on meds for the day before doing anything else.

Yes, love pickles, I'm known to drink some pickling juice right from the jar at times. DH had the funniest expression on his face when he rounded the corner to see me chugging down salty, dill, with some garlic pickle juice, olive or sauerkraut juice the 1st few times he caught me. 🤣 Most crave sweets & chocolates. I love fruit, I like a bit of chocolate, but pickles, green olives, sauerkraut & cajun boiled peanuts are King.
And they're GOOD for you.

I love vinegar based foods, like sauerbraten 😋😋😋

All the severe storms forecasted to roll through and we didn't get a drop of rain here yesterday! 6am I watered the garden & gave my flock all fresh waters for the day. Why is it So bloody hot & humid? We went from Temps in the 40s in May & needing to wear layers, to sweating, drenched & wheezing within 5 minutes of being outside, practically overnight. 1st days of June used to be cold. Not this year. The air quality is still horrible this morning, Choking, wheezing, coughing, itching & sweating, but the hives are gone thank goodness. My sense of smell is so acute & I can practically taste chemicals in the air & it is so still outside, not even a slight breeze. I'm still red & puffy faced but I am going to work today regardless of how I feel. Supposed to get more storms roll through today. I just hope there aren't any tornadoes, for any of us. TGIF everyone! 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹

Young pullets are growing up fast. ❤️

I wonder if they sprayed Round Up?

There's glyphosate in the foods we eat, so many of us are sensitized and display allergic symptoms to the slightest exposure to Round Up.

Never heard that one, before! Hope the meds work and you have a non-reactive day ♡
When getting my wisdom teeth removed as a teen, the dentist punctured into my sinus cavity... Or maybe the roots of my wisdom teeth were growing into my sinus cavity. Can't remember exactly... But either way, whenever I get a cold or allergies or anything that causes pressure and excess mucus in my sinus cavity, that somehow irritates the nerves around the roots of my molars. That equates to a strange itchiness sensation. It's like having an itch you can't reach... Enough to drive you bonkers! 😂

That's a bummer, but makes perfect sense.

Yep. Mine are just crazy close to the sinus cavity. so when my allergies or sinus act up, my teeth ache and 'itch' is about the closest word I can come up with.
