You know, there has to be a better way than to squeeze the ladies to a pancake. I think they have not done enough to create something less painful

So far the high temps are at 93F. Too hot to cook. I’ll be warming up frozen leftovers instead. My old counter top oven was on its last legs. I just got a Ninja XL oven to replace it. I had hoped to make air fried chicken wings tonight. First I have to hand scrub everything, racks, metal baskets, etc. before use. Wah! I’ve been dividing my 50 pound bags of chicken food into two buckets @Sueby. I can still lift 50 pounds but I’m trying to slow down. I have an appointment with a chiropractor to see if they can do anything for my chronic neck pain.

Agreed!

Wouldn't you know it - I'm going away for the weekend & a 5 year old bird that's never been broody now is. Thankfully I had everything set up (crate, shade cloth, feed & water, etc) knowing eventually Daryl would go broody on the hottest day of the year, but it's Piper instead. that Daryl doesn't join her now - oh jeeze, please no.

My strawberries look like they're lacking nitrogen - can anyone recommend a high, or only, N water soluble fertilizer?

They are turning yellow/red & Nourse (where I got them) agree it looks like Nitrogen or pH, but the pH tests ok.

That's a big tomato!

I picked it yesterday because I was pruning and the vine was damaged. So it's still in the process of ripening... The variety is an indeterminate called Olena Ukrainian. It's even bigger than Backa one I grew last year (1 lb 7.8 Oz).

I have never heard of that variety! There are so many tomato varieties that it is hard to keeo up with!!

The first mammogram I had I was ready to tell the doctor to go take a long walk off of a short pier into shark infested water . I had one last year and it was like a easy peasy walk in the garden. No pain and so much faster than the first one.
