Finally got this little guy the other day. He was destroying my cukes and cantaloupes. Relocated him a few miles away.

I suppose I could try that, next year. I do have cattle panels. Did you sew your covers?

Speaking of, I found cucumber beetles & SVB moths under the covers so I uncovered them all today.

I have a 2nd round of cucumber plants in a GreenStalk up by the house, that will get me more cukes for the end of the season.

We have a groundhog that I think might need to go.

I hear you. My neighbor has a trap set. Here's hoping!

I had a neighbor tell me that relocating captured wildlife (at least in my area) is illegal.

We decided on Astro turf to line the boxes for chickens and I feel so bad!
It was about $25 cheaper to buy off roll than the precut so I went w the off the roll. The worker had problems feeding the new roll in the machine to cut it . After getting another worker to help him, as it was feeding the whole roll unwound onto floor behind him
I felt so bad bc he really wanted me to buy that precut and I really wanted to save that $25 for something else

I'm sorry that happened. But it was absolutely not your fault.

I had someone on a forum tell me that in Arkansas you can’t relocate raccoons or wildlife (I was capturing raccoons and relocating at a national park). We don’t live in AK.

That is a downer. Your choices are plant enough for them (which they multiply and will never be enough), or kill.

I’ve learned through experience that some jalapeño's are quite mild and some really spicy hot. Unfortunately I don’t remember which one was the spicy one. I’ve had better luck planting jalapeno’s in containers

May want to look at sulfur levels, I have heard they have an effect on the heat of peppers grown as well as onions.

I use/used that too until we switched to the roll away egg boxes. FYI it also comes in 6x8 foot rolls, usually at the end of the carpet row. It comes out even less expensive than the massive rolls by the foot.

See I fully expected to buy the pre-cut but they wanted $45 for the pre-cut in box! I had him scan just to make sure the price on box was right! I looked online b4 I went too

My husband said we actually got more bc he measured wrong too. Or maybe he was so flustered he wanted to get it cut and us out of there!
