What did you do in the garden today?

About 6 months ago I developed neuropathy in my toes due to diabetes.
I've had numbness in my toes for years. It started on the outside of my little toe, slowly progressed across the rest. Originally diagnosed as Morton's Neuropathy, and I figured it was due to that.

I'm going to get a bottle of B1 and give it a try.

Morning. I have good news. About 6 months ago I developed neuropathy in my toes due to diabetes. Doctor prescribed gabapentin. Did not help and the list of side effects was scary. I quit taking it. I recently saw a YouTube video about vitamin B1 helping neuropathy. Bought some Friday and have been taking it. My neuropathy is almost gone. Worked fast.
How much B1?
Glad it's working quickly

Good morning gardeners. I started clearing one of the tomato beds. I collected the cages and stacked them. The bed with the cherry and grape tomatoes are still blooming so I think I’ll give that more time to start the ripening. Today is tomato saucing and canning. I really need to get them out of the freezer. The temperatures are in the high 60’s and edging on 70 for the next 10 days. The Fall garden is doing well. I picked more radishes today. I’m glad the vitamin B1 is helping your neuropathy @jerryse. I have some affecting my toes My podiatrist suggested walking more and I have noticed that has minimized my numbness. Have a great day all.

I cut my planted green onions that I got from my local grocery store, and it grew back the next day. They were growing lanky, so I cut them close to the potting soil. I notice that when I cut them higher up, the dried outer skin around the stem interferes with their growth. Furthermore, I found out that one green onion stem can multiply as seen in the picture on the bottom. I used individual stems and spaced them out when I planted them.

When you regrow green onions, typically one stem will produce two to five new stems12. This can vary depending on the growing conditions and how well the plant is cared for.

I mentioned that the pineapple plant I left in the pot after picking its fruit grew two suckers. Now, they are bigger than the planted suckers I cut off earlier. I conclude that it is better to let the suckers grow bigger on the parent plant before planting.
