What did you do in the garden today?

We're getting close to first frost, which is usually at the end of October. I'm thinking of covering all the peas, turnips, and collards with light row covers. The collards don't care if it's freezing, but peas generally do well only until very heavy frost. It couldn't hurt to try to extend the season a little.

We're heading into the land of hard freeze tonight, below 22'F.
I'll grab the last of the fresh tarragon for the season and toss some alfalfa pellets out in the herb garden for the rabbit. (old softie that I am)
Friday, when the wind dies down (currently gusting over 50), I'll go out and add fresh alpaca manure to the tomato beds.
Stinging insect allergy appt was yesterday. I get to carry an epi from here on out in warm season for wasps/hornets/yellow jackets. I'm not hyper allergic yet, but she said with my weird reactions and all other allergies, it might only be a matter of time and I'm so far out in the country, it's better to have one than not. So.
I don't have to use it unless I get stung AND have a wild reaction, not just if I get stung.
Last of the respiratory/sinus thing is still holding on, but barely. I am OVER this.

The Holy Basil seeds from @akroberts1085 have sprouted. 🤩
