What did you do in the garden today?

All year I have struggled with photos. I think I finally figured it out. Changes due to updates, I guess. When I put a SD card in and tell it I want to import I get a blank screen. I finally tried bringing the photo screen up first, then click import and select card. It will then show pics on card and let me import them. Then when I want to share it often shows me photo numbers and not pics. I then have to click home select photos stored locally and open. I can the scroll my photos. This is why I have not shared photos much.

I am looking forward to the dill. I have been told to let is bolt once we finished harvesting and it will replant itself. We shall see.

My dill readily self seeds itself. There is a reason it is sometimes called, "dill weed."

I put a section of 1/2"x1" welded rabbit cage floor wire over the rows of onion and shallot seeds I planted in the garden to protect from the wild birds.

There's been a flock of Stellar jays hanging around here lately and they've been digging around a lot in the garden. One of them broke the top off of one of the garlic plants, but it'll survive. And it must not have tasted good because no more of the garlic has been damaged.

Finished the catnip seeds today, started on the remaining sweet basil. The basil did so well this year I might try a different variety next year and swap between them.

I watered the 4 greenstalks still left (carrots, strawberries & greens) today. So windy out there.

Also made some ricotta. I don't know why I actually buy it when it's SO much better this way. & it's so easy to make. Cept that I might eat the whole tub of it warm.

Picked up a new chainsaw yesterday to replace the one that was stolen. This is our 4TH one... Every single one has been stolen (different houses and different times). I told DH we need to chain it to the metal pole in the shop so even if someone manages to break in again it's harder for them to walk off with it!

make some hidden place on your property for tools. that's how a friend of mine keeps his tools after being robbed many times.
