What did you do in the garden today?

I can't believe that mulberry tree may be unwanted.
In USA the Red mulberry is native. However someone brought over Chinese white mulberry, for silk worms, and they are invasive.
The 2 have been hybridizing and there's few pure native red mulberry

Our mulberry trees are growing as undergrowth under Leyland Cypress we planted decades ago(a mistake to say the least) so we let them go generally because we sort of like the forest-y border around the property. We also have black cherry trees that seem to want to root EVERYWHERE. Have one that took to an area near our shed and chicken coop which ended up being in a near perfect spot so it lives on.

In our area mulberry trees are just large weeds. They spring up as undergrowth more often than not.
I'd take those off your hands... 😂
