I never even knew that was possible with garlic! Always felt garlic chased away the bad things. Finally finished trimming my garlic. All four varieties are in boxes now.
Pulled all of my bush beans. Pretty sure they have root knot nematodes.... Going to pull out all of the soil and let it dry. I hate to go fallow but I'll refresh it with compost and mushroom spawn after. Those don't look like nitrogen nodes.

Yeah I'd never had it happen before either. I bought this variety as certified seed garlic so I'm pretty sure it came with the pests. I recall having some pretty smooshy cloves when I got it.I never even knew that was possible with garlic! Always felt garlic chased away the bad things.
Well that sucks. Hope they don't contaminate your soil.Yeah I'd never had it happen before either. I bought this variety as certified seed garlic so I'm pretty sure it came with the pests. I recall having some pretty smooshy cloves when I got it.
I am so fed up with them. They dug up an entire 15 gallon grow bag of radishes, killed my only kale I had planted, dug up a 15 gallon grow bag of spinach, and keep eating my tomatoes and not even finishing them. That was just yesterday.Today is looking like it will be a bad day to be a chipmunk![]()
Trap crop. Eliminate on the kale as they show up. Leave the kale or they will start on the others soonerI've seen no aphids on the collards or cabbages, but I think I'm going to just remove all the kale plants since
I have not seen a chipmunk since I seen the weasel running through the poultry yard with a mouse this summerI am so fed up with them.
